Patrick and Jean Groves received their missionary appointment to Kenya/Sudan in March 2004. Naturalized Canadian citizens, they were born in Jamaica and converted in April 1985 at Pentecostal Tabernacle, Kingston, Jamaica. They received a miraculous call to foreign missionary service two weeks after their initial conversion during a foreign missions service in their local assembly. In the years following God confirmed this call many times. They immigrated to Toronto, Canada, in November 1988, and Brother Groves graduated from Apostolic Missionary Institute in Oshawa, Ontario, in 1990. Over the years the Groves have worked under the late F. W. McKenzie and Granville McKenzie at Faith Sanctuary, primarily in the areas of evangelism and teaching.

At the time of their appointment, Bro. Groves was the assistant pastor and director of outreach. Sis. Groves is an experienced Sunday school teacher and puppeteer while the Groves’ children are involved in drama, puppet, and music ministries.
