Gerry and Darla McLean arrived in Nigeria as AIM workers on June 1, 1997, and were subsequently appointed as missionaries at the General Conference in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 1998. Initially their primary missionary involvement was to operate the national Bible School. To this end a ground breaking service was held on July 16, 2003, for the construction of a 12,000 square foot Bible School in Enugu.
Brother McLean also teaches Oneness seminars throughout Nigeria. He stated, “In the last three years over 1,100 Trinitarian ministers have received a revelation of the mighty God in Christ and have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Many of these pastors have returned to their home churches to baptize their entire congregations in Jesus’ name. As a result the work has grown considerably in the last two years with the licensing of new ministers and the addition of new churches.” |
